This Swann 8-Channel DVR is the next generation of do-it-yourself security safety monitoring. Featuring 8 standard composite video inputs and 2 video outputs. It is the ideal CCTV system Digital Video Recorder for small retail stores, homes or as a replacement for time lapse recorders. Integrated motion activated recording also makes it ideal for covert observation systems. Control of the units is via the front panel controls and on-screen display menu.

Video recording is activated manually via alarm-inputs or automatically via built-in motion detection. Recording speed & quality can also be setup via the on-scren display. To playback, you simply connect the unit to a monitor or TV, select an event and press play.

This 8-Channel DVR is ideal for remote surveillance and playback/recording of 8 camera locations over the internet. The surveillance video is digitally recorded to an internal hard drive, instead of tape, permitting the continuous recording of the video from all cameras for days or weeks at a time. When the hard drive is full, the oldest video is deleted so that the system always has the most recent video stored for immediate playback. There are no tapes to maintain, rewind or replace when they wear out. Downtime for maintenance is dramatically reduced.

This DVR features various recording modes, timer, motion detection, and alarm. Videos display in full screen as well as picture-in-picture in 120 images/second.
