With the built-in 500GB hard drive of this DVR, it's possible, using motion activation, to record the video of 4 cameras for up to 2 years! And with the latest, most advanced compression level available, H.264, you save storage space without sacrificing video quality. When the hard drive is full, the oldest video is deleted so that the system always has the most recent video stored for immediate playback. To create video to file indefinitely, connect to a PC via the USB port and save the video as a media file.

This DVR's Online viewing feature permits checking in from any computer in the world with Internet Explorer. (Requires a Router, Windows Operating System, Internet Explorer, and Broadband Internet connection for online viewing). Access your DVR's live footage from your smart phone, iPhone or BlackBerry, even receive email alerts when suspicious activity occurs.
