A very small "receiver" also plugs into an AC power receptacle near your PC and is then connected via USB cable to your Network Router. The video signal is securely transmitted from the surveillance camera(s) to the receiver through your power lines and then recorded on the Hard Disk Drive of your PC, eliminating troublesome interference from other Radio Frequency sources and keeping your video totally private. After the included “Command Center” Software is installed, and the cameras placed and plugged into nearby outlets, the cameras immediately start transmitting the video over the existing electrical wiring to your PC.
