Digital Video Recorders are approximately the size of a VCR, but that's where the similarities end. With a DVR, the video is digitally recorded to an internal hard drive, instead of tape. This permits the continuous recording of the video from all cameras for days or weeks at a time. When the hard drive is full, the oldest video is deleted so that the system always has the most recent video stored for immediate playback. There are no tapes to maintain, rewind or replace when they wear out. Downtime of maintenance is dramatically reduced.

Watch live or recorded footage directly on the integrated LCD monitor, which saves space and easily slides out of the DVR with the touch of a button. Since it’s built right into the DVR housing unit, it eliminates the need for wires and extra power cords to a separate monitor. The Quad view permits you to view 4 camera locations simultaneously.**

This DVR features 30fps MJPEG Compression, 1 Audio Channel and an InfraRed remote control. The included 250 Gb HDD can save over 2 months of video footage! In addition, the USB Port allows for easy transferring and archiving of recorded footage to a computer. And the Network Transmission function means you can view your cameras from anywhere in the world via the Internet.

Integrated motion activated recording also makes it ideal for covert observation systems. Control of the unit is via the front panel controls or and on-screen display menu using the remote control.
