If you're not registered with Vigilance and Security, nor on our mailing list, you browse our website anonymously. For an unregistered user, we do not collect any personal information, such as your email address. Neither do we track the Web sites that you visit before or after you leave our site. We do log the IP address of your computer to give us an idea of which pages of our web site you visit and how long you spend there. But we don't link your IP address to any personally identifiable data. This information is used, in the aggregate, to determine which parts of our site are being visited most often.

Registered Users
Those who do sign up to be on Vigilance and Security's mailing list or register to subscribe, voluntarily provide us their name, email address, home or business postal address, telephone and fax numbers. They also voluntarily check boxes on our form to indicate interest in one or more of our program areas. This information is kept strictly confidential, in a secured and encrypted environment. Occasionally, we may send emails to registered users, announcing new products or providing security tips. If a registered user receives an HTML email from us, we track whether the email was read and corresponding action, if any. This information is used to determine the efficacy of our public outreach. At any time, a registered user may unsubscribe from our email list by clicking the "unsubscribe" button in any of these emails.

Vigilance and Security will not sell or share your information with any third party. We do not contract with any advertising or marketing agencies to gather individual or group profile information on our visitors based on their personal profile.
